Child Actor On Your Hands?

extras 1

Has your child ever expressed an interest in being on television or in films? A great place to start is with Kids! Management. Kids! Management is a company that will book kids as extras in movies, television and commercials. Once registered (registration is free – see website for more information), you will receive notifications (via text) for jobs that fit your child’s profile. If you are interested, you simply reply to the text (or ignore it if not interested). There is no auditioning. If you accept a job, you will be informed on the time, location (usually in the Los Angeles area), and what to bring. Parents must accompany their child during their work day (sorry, but no siblings allowed unless they are working on the same job). A typical day on the set includes three hours of schooling, a lunch break (often catered food provided for parents and kids), and time spent in front of the camera as a background performer. It can be a fun and educational experience, and the icing on the cake is that kids can earn a few dollars, too!

These two good friends and iLEAD learners have had fun acting in films, TV shows and commercials. In fact, you might recognize Nathan Arenas if you have ever seen the Disney show “Bunk’d.” He plays a comedic character named Jorge. Nate Stone can also be seen on “Bunk’d” as a recurring guest star playing the role of Timmy.
