Write About It!
One great way to encourage your learner to write more is to have them focus on those topics they love to talk about; pets, sports, games 
or favorite foods! It is always easier to write about the natural interests in our lives. Challenge your learner to write an informational piece that explains how to do something like ride a bike, or make their favorite sandwich, or maybe how to take care of a family pet. Share your ideas with your EF, as they would love to celebrate what you know how to do!
