Chino Hills State Park Field Trip

iLEAD Exploration learners had a great experience at Chino Hills State Park. They were presented with a docent-led tour of the visitor center and its exhibits focusing on biodiversity, the park’s habitats, plants and animals. Learners were then led though a quarter-mile trail observing the five habitat zones and identifying plants along the way. At the end of the tour, each learner was given the opportunity to plant and learn how to care for their own native plant that they were able to take home with them after the trip.
