College Application Time
It’s time to start filling out those applications!
Here are some tips for applying to colleges:
- Discover options that might be right for you (close to home or across the country) by reading Loren Pope’s book, Colleges That Change Lives: 40 Schools That Will Change the Way You Think About Colleges.
- Save login information for college applications as you start creating them.
- Be mindful of deadlines. The deadline for UC/CSU schools for FALL 2019 is Nov 30.
- Once you submit an application, you will no longer be able to make corrections, so make sure your information is complete before that final click.
- Applications for CSU schools for fall 2019 opened on Oct 1, 2018. Click here to apply and save your account.

- If you’re applying to a UC school, begin with personal insight questions and follow these tips.
- Now is the time to fill out FAFSA forms (the earlier the better).
