Learner Spotlight: Cruz Freyre

A kindergartner in his first year with iLEAD Exploration, Cruz Freyre can be found surfing at various beaches every morning, skateboarding every afternoon, and learning Jujitsu most evenings. This high-energy learner with a robust schedule definitely keeps true to his motto: “No Days Off.”

In between all his activities, Cruz has plenty of time for learning traditional curriculum, like any other kindergartner. He is a friendly five-year-old who loves to learn new things and ask a lot of questions.

Cruz and his family appreciate the freedom built into schooling with iLEAD because it has enabled them to travel to northern California, Hawaii, Mexico, and Bali-Indonesia, and it allows Cruz to learn at a natural pace through shared life experiences with his family.
