Welcome Back – New Independent Study Requirements
Dear Exploration Learners and Families,
Welcome Back! We are excited to partner with you and your family for the 2021-2022 school year.
On July 1, 2021, Assembly Bill 130 was passed into law. AB-130 requires the following changes to independent study requirements:
- Daily Attendance
- Confirming/providing access to a device with internet connectivity
- TK-3 learners will be offered daily engagement learning opportunities
- 4-8 learners will be offered daily engagement live interaction and weekly engagement opportunities
- 9-12 learners will be offered weekly engagement opportunities
