Artuity Creative Studio was opened by Kris Sosa in 1989 as Antelope Valley School of Fine Art. Antoinette De Paiva, was hired as an assistant in 1994. After she retired I kept the business going under my name and rebranded it in 2016. This a traditional art studio: subjects include landscapes, pets, people, still life, objects, and abstraction. We work from both reference and imagination. We do seasonal fun projects and enter shows and competitions.
Pastels, Watercolors, Oil, Acrylic and Drawing.
Japanese art and Anime are popular: I don’t know or offer it, preferring originality over trends and sharing my own education, knowledge, training, history and practice with my valued students.
