California Climbing School [S]

California Climbing School, based in Joshua Tree, CA, teaches climbing safety, movement techniques, and respect for the environment. Students learn how to tie into the rope, how to trust the rope to come down, verbal commands, and safety checks. Older and more experienced students will have opportunities to learn belaying and rappelling as well. Students will learn how to avoid environmental hazards such as dehydration, sunburn, rockfall, and animal bites/stings. Leave No Trace ethics are woven into the curriculum so we leave these beautiful sites pristine and clean.<p>
