Little Oak Ranch is located on a 2-acre ranch in Castaic. We’ve spent four years establishing a permaculture food forest. We offer educational classes such as Garden wonders and Gardening in the food forest to provide different age groups of children with a multi-sensory connection to nature through many hands-on projects, such as harvesting from the garden, cooking with the seasonal plants, and studying the animals around us. Students will also make nature-based arts and crafts and play gross motor games. These programs will help the next generation understand our complex ecosystem and raise the consciousness of having a harmonious relationship with nature.
