Megan Litz Private Tutoring [S]

I will provide one-on-one tutoring support, located in Buena Park and online, through a program that focuses more on the struggling speller, than reader. It’s for students who can’t retain their spelling words from one week to the next and they can’t spell when writing sentences or stories, not even those high frequency sight words. And when they write, it is hard to remember capital letters and punctuation marks. The student may have some reading skills, but struggles to sound out -decode- unknown words. The curriculum is an Ortho-Gillingham based method that has been verified through research to help learners spell with confidence and learn to read with the proper decoding skills.
