Visual and Performing Arts. The Suzuki Music Association of CA/Suzuki Music Program of Los Angeles provides a positive environment where children find joy in making music together, where they are eager to learn and motivated to practice, and where they reach a high level of competence in the Suzuki repertoire and in other musical genres. SMPLA offers group lessons and performance opportunities for children studying violin and/or guitar using the Suzuki Method. We include Suzuki repertoire, classical, folk, and popular repertoire, as well as ensemble music. We help children to gain skills in violin, music literacy, and performance self-confidence. They experience the joy of music with others.
