Sylvia’s Design Sewing Studio [S]

Sylvia’s Design Studio is a creative training studio for aspiring creative people. Sewing provides students with the opportunity to trust their confidence in the fact that being creative is subjective. We all look at the art of sewing through different colored lens. Sewing allows the student to use their brain and hands to create something functional, artistic and useful. Sewing requires reading and comprehension of sewing instruction, on putting anything together. Math skills are used when sewing, for measuring, cutting to a specific size and finishing at a certain measurement. Understanding how a ruler is divided in inches or centimeter is important.
